The Cliffs of Moher

NOTE: Notice the small tower on the far right of the picture. For scale, that tower is about 3 stories tall.
Listed as one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Cliffs of Moher certainly live up to their billing. We were there last summer when my wife and I visited Ireland. We had been told not to bother going if the weather was bad but it just so happened that on the day we were traveling from Dingle to Galway, it was one of the most brilliantly beautiful days of the trip. We stopped at the cliffs, and it was breath taking. I took this shot from outside of the sanctioned tourist zone (which you can actually see some of waaay over to the right of the photo). There was actually a big sign that said no one was allowed to travel past this point, and yet there was a well worn trail leading right past it. Erin was so mad at me the whole time we were out past the walls. She thought I was going to fall off the 700 foot drop into the ocean so I could get a better picture. Well, I didnt, and I got this photo (and about 200 others) so, ha.
